TUTORS & TEACHERS NEEDED
We are currently looking for qualified educators and tutors to join our network! Applicants must have a level of expertise in a core subject and a passion for sharing and educating. Training provided to qualified candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with children of any age or capacity
- Proven competency in select academic area(s) of instruction
- Desire and/or intention to pursue degree or career in education is a plus
- Good interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor
- Must interact well with children and parents
- Proficient in verbal and written communication using Standard English
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED required
Some college preferred
IN ORDER TO SERVE THE ACADEMIC NEEDS OF THE STUDENT, TUTORS:
1. May need to prepare tutoring lessons in advance
2. Must be alert and ensure the safety and well-being of the student while instructing
3. Must adhere to all policies and procedures in the Tutor Guidelines
4. Must represent Sankofa Education Services with professionalism at all times
